Pilotless Planes Could Take Off Sooner Than You Think

CHARLOTTE, NC — Boeing says it will soon start working on technology that could make pilotless planes a possibility in the next decade.

No pilots could save the aviation industry more than $30 billion a year, and many planes already rely on computers to land with pilots only manually flying for a few minutes on average.
