UPDATE: Officials say Destin Sloan turned himself in to authorities Tuesday.
Sloan is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $400,000 secured bond.

ROWAN COUNTY, NC — Deputies are looking for Destin Sloan, 25, after he failed to appear in court on a 2nd Degree Murder charge.
Officials say Sloan was out on bond and was scheduled to appear in court Monday for a pending trial. Sloan was arrested for the murder of 39-year-old Kerry Gray in July 2014.
According to reports, the murder happened on Maria Lane in Woodleaf, NC after an argument between Sloan and Gray.
Sloan is described as a black male, 5’6″, 160lbs, dark hair, and the tattoo “MO$B” across his fingers on his left hand. Officials say he was living on Mooresville Road in Salisbury when he was arrested in 2014.
Deputies say Sloan is also known to carry a gun, so anyone attempting to approach him should use extreme caution.
