RALEIGH, NC โย The North Carolina Turnpike Authority has released Mercator Advisorsโ draft report as part of the review of the I-77 Express Lanes contract, which provides a list of options for NCDOT to consider and an assessment of each of those options.

โWe encourage members of the public to let us know of anything missed or any inaccuracies,โ said NC Turnpike Authority Executive Director Beau Memory. โWe want to ensure that all concerns are evaluated in this review.โ
Feedback, ideas and recommendations regarding the report can be emailed toย i77feedback@ncdot.gov or provided on the I-77 Express Lanesย project page. To ensure comments are included in the final report, please submit them byย Sept. 9.
The public comments will be reviewed and incorporated in the final report, which is expected to be released in late summer.
Based on the Turnpike Authorityโs experience with tolling, large financial transactions and no prior involvement in the procurement and execution in the I-77 Express Lanes contract, Secretary Jim Trogdon tasked the authority with the selection of a consultant to conduct a thorough review of all aspects of the contract.ย NCTA is facilitating the review and supporting Mercator’s data and logistical needs.
