EDGE On The Clock: App Pulls ‘Ethnicity Filter’ Following Backlash
CHARLOTTE, NC — A popular photo editing app is being called racist after recently introducing a new filter that lets you change your ethnicity.
FaceApp added the feature in a recent update, but quickly removed it after some heavy backlash. The filter allowed users to change selfies to black, Indian, and Asian.
