Fire Keeps Morehead Medical Plaza Closed Another Day

CHARLOTTE, NC — The Morehead Medical Plaza near Uptown was closed again Friday after an electrical fire Thursday afternoon.

The Charlotte Fire Department says the fire broke out around lunchtime and did roughly $250,000 in damage. Patients are being asked to call on Monday to re-schedule their appointments.

Carolinas Medical Center was not affected and is operating normally.
