PINEVILLE, NC — A portion of South Polk Street has reopened after a gas leak forced a closure Friday afternoon.
According to police, the 300 block of South Polk Street (near the Autobell Car Wash) are back open but lanes have been slightly altered to allow traffic to move in both directions.
Officials say the area is secure, but crews are still working on making repairs.
