25-Year-Old Alabama Woman Found After Being Lost In The Wild

CHARLOTTE, NC — A 25-year-old Alabama woman was found over the weekend after being lost in the wild since last month.

The woman ran into the woods to escape from some guys who were breaking into a hunting cabin. She got disoriented in the dark and wandered around in several thousand acres of isolated wilderness.

She had no shoes, no phone, and search teams and dogs were never able to pick up her scent. She was finally rescued over the weekend after being spotted by passing driver when she reached a highway.
