CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say a barricaded suspect has been taken into custody following a SWAT situation in the University area of Charlotte.
Police were called to the scene at Potenza Drive, near W. Mallard Creek Church Road and Berkeley Place Drive, around 8 a.m.
Investigators say the suspect, Corey Seburn, came out of the residence peacefully and was taken into custody. Police say they were dealing with a domestic situation possibly involving a gun. Officers also believed there were children inside the home.
No injuries were reported. This is a developing story with more information to come.
