Solar Eclipse Sweeps The Nation
CHARLOTTE, NC — Regardless of where you were this afternoon, you probably stopped for a moment and looked towards the sky to see a once in a lifetime phenomenon.
The total eclipse started in Oregon and ended in Charleston, South Carolina. The historic event lasted just under three hours from start to finish. It is the first solar eclipse to travel from coast to coast since 1918.
