Missing Teen Found Safe, Reunited With Her Family
UPDATE: The missing teen was found safe and has been reunited with her family.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Departmentβs Missing Persons Unit is conducting an investigation into the disappearance of a missing 19 year-old female subject with cognitive issues.
The incident was reported in the 2200 block of Bancroft Street in the Metro Division. Β The call for service came in atΒ 9:12 p.m.Β on Monday, August 21, 2017.
Officers responded to a call for service and spoke with Towonia Wallace, the mother of Archiana Flemming. Β Mrs. Wallace reported thatΒ Archiana Flemming left her home on Monday, August 21, 2017, at approximatelyΒ 8:00p.m.
Archiana has been diagnosed as having diminished mental capacity and requires supervision.Β
Flemming was last seen on August 21st at 8:15 p.m. shopping at the Family Dollar located at 2022 N. Graham Street.
She was seen in the company of the unknown male shown in the below.Β He is not suspected of committing any crime, however detectives are interested in identifying and speaking to him in order to help locate Archiana.
