Officer Responding To Domestic Violence Call Spots Robbery In Progress
STATESVILLE, NC — Police are looking for three suspects after a late night break-in at a local business.
According to reports, an officer responding to a domestic violence call on August 17th spotted three suspects running from a business on Western Avenue shortly after midnight. The suspects dropped a trash can and duffle bag while running from police. Inside, officials say they found medications that had been taken during the robbery.
Police say the three suspects broke into the store using a pry bar after cutting the alarm, phone, and cable lines in the back. Investigators say this case is believed to be connected to similar break-ins at pharmacies in Charlotte and Kannapolis.
Officials say the suspects were dressed in all black.
