Novant Health House Call: OB/GYN Urgent Care

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Dr. Augustus “Gus” Parker from Novant Health is here to talk about the new OB/GYN urgent care clinic.

The clinic offers a team of specialized women’s health providers available every evening and weekend to care for women’s urgent medical needs. The clinic’s extended hours allow women to see an obstetrician or gynecologist when their regular doctor’s office is closed as an alternative to an emergency room visit. The clinic is available for women experiencing unusual pain, irregular bleeding, nausea, and urinary tract infections. Testing for pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases is available. No appointment is necessary.
