CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are investigating an earlier accident that shutdown inbound Freedom Drive at Cheshire Avenue.
One man is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a tractor trailer hit him while he was riding a scooter.
The crash happened just before 1 a.m. this morning.
