Amélie’s French Bakery & Café Releases Autumn Menu

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (September 1, 2017) – Amélie’s French Bakery and Café, a French-inspired café known for their sweets, savories and beverages, launches their autumn menu today.

Available through the end of November, the menu features 39 items for the fall season; some of which are brand new flavor creations and others are customer favorites that Amélie’s brought back this year. The seasonal recipes are made using autumn-inspired flavors and ingredients such as pumpkin, pecan, apple, butternut squash and spiced cherry.

“The autumn menu items are inspired by fruit markets in Alsace, golden-hued trees at twilight, first orchard harvests, and the whisper of chill in the air,” said Amélie’s Director of Beverages, Maura Raymond. “With cooler weather coming in, we are excited to offer food and drink pairings to keep our customers warm while celebrating the new season.”

A few offerings from the Amélie’s autumn menu include:

French Macarons: pumpkin pecan praline, spiced cherry, brown butter pecan, s’mores, almond toffee

Sweet Potato Pecan Petit Four: Pâte sucrée base, sweet potato, pecan, topped with marshmallow and toasted crushed pecans

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Danish: Pumpkin filling and cream cheese

Roasted Root Vegetable + Smoked Gouda Tartine: Smoked gouda spread topped with roasted root vegetables

Butternut Squash Soup: Vegetable stock, butternut squash purée, onions, carrots, garlic, apples, caraway seeds and thyme
