FBI ‘C.A.R.D.’ Team Joins The Case Of A Shelby Girl Missing Since 2000

SHELBY, NC — The FBI Child Abduction Rapid Deployment team is now assisting in the 17-year-old missing child case of Asha Degree.

Asha disappeared from her home off of Highway 18 on February 14, 2000. She was 9-years-old at the time.

During a joint press conference with the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office and the NC State Bureau of Investigation, the FBI begged the public to come forward with any information. The FBI is still offering a $25,000 reward for leads to help find Asha.
