CMPD Locates Missing 90-Year-Old-Man

UPDATE: Police say they have found a missing Charlotte man missing since Thursday.

Joseph Rand has been located in Charlotte and is being reunited with his family.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — CMPD’s Missing Persons Unit is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Joseph Lane Rand.

On Thursday September 7, 2017, Joseph Rand left his home at 3500 Windsor Drive driving to an unknown destination. He has not returned home at this time and his whereabouts are unknown.

Rand is believed to have a cognitive issue and there is some concern about his safety. He was last seen driving a blue 2008 4 door Saturn Aura, displaying North Carolina tag WRA-1854. Rand would also be traveling with a black and white Terrier that would answer to the name “Buddy”.
