CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte’s mayoral primary is underway, despite some wind and rain from Irma.
Polls have been open about an hour now and will stay open until 7:30 p.m. tonight.
Incumbent mayor Jennifer Roberts is facing four democratic challengers. On the republican side, there are three mayoral candidates looking for a spot in the November General Election.
