CHARLOTTE, NC — A local child riding around in his electric police car got a big surprise when a CMPD officer stopped to thank him for patrolling the neighborhood.
A post on CMPD’s Facebook page says Officer Stuart was finishing up a routine traffic stop when he spotted Nichole Sinno’s son driving around in an electric police car. In a message to CMPD, Sinno told police that Stuart stopped and began talking to her son as if they were “old friends.”
Stuart then thanked her son for patrolling the neighborhood.
