Two Die In Wrong Way Crash On I-77

YORK COUNTY, S.C. — According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, two people died when a car hit a tractor trailer on I-77 northbound in York County, South Carolina, Saturday night.

Reports indicate the car entered the highway traveling the wrong way from South Anderson Road and collided with the tractor trailer.

Four people were in the car. The driver and a rear passenger both died. Β The other two passengers were taken to CMC-Main for treatment.

The identities of the deceased have not been released.

The two people in the tractor trailer were not injured.
