One Arrested After Man Robbed, Shot While Pumping Gas In North Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man was robbed and shot after he pumped gas at a store in north Charlotte, according to police.

Jequii Kennedy was charged for his involvement in the case.  He is facing assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of stolen property charges.

Officers say the victim had just finished pumping gas at the shell gas station on Sunset Road, when he was approached around 2:30 a.m., robbed and then shot.  The victim is expected to be okay.
