Five Charged With Several Armed Robberies In Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, NC– CMPD detectives say they have charged five suspects for their involvement in four armed robberies from businesses in the Charlotte area.

· On September 4th, officers say they responded to the Fortune Garden, located on Arrowood Road, in reference to an armed robbery from the business.

· On September 5th, two suspects reportedly entered the Waffle House on Arrowood Road and proceeded to draw weapons and force employees and customers to the floor. The suspects then robbed multiple victims inside the business. The suspects then fled the business in a dark colored vehicle.

· On September 6th, police responded to the La Catracha Restaurant on Arrowood Road, in reference to an armed robbery from the business.

· On September 9th, police say they responded to the Fortune Garden, located on Arrowood Road, in reference to an armed robbery from the business.

Authorities say information gathered during the course of the investigation led them to identify Jordan Douglas, William Richardson, Rayshawn Jackson, Allyson Mitchell, and Jordyn Collins, as suspects in these cases.

Mitchell and Douglas have been charged with 8 counts of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon. Richardson has been charged with 9 counts of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon. Collins has been charged with Possession of Stolen Property. Jackson has been charged with one count of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon.
