Four Suspects Arrested And Charged In Two Armed Robberies

CHARLOTTE, NC– Officers say they have charged four suspects for their involvement in two armed robberies.

On September 19th, Officers responded to an armed robbery from person call on Perth Court.

The victim advised police that he had been robbed at gunpoint by four Hispanic subjects in black clothing with black masks and that they were in a black hatchback with a red and white plate hanging off.

A short time later ,Officers spotted a vehicle that matched the suspect vehicle description at a car wash on North Tryon Street.

Officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop but the driver refused to comply and fled.  After a short vehicle pursuit, the suspect vehicle wrecked on Old Concord and all four occupants were arrested without incident.

A shotgun and fake pistol were found in the vehicle, along with property from the victim.

The suspects were identified as Andreas Miranda, DOB: 07/24/2001, Luis Fernandez, DOB: 05/02/2000, Ashley Ramos, DOB: 03/04/2001, and a 15-year-old male juvenile.

Police say further information and evidence gathered by detectives not only confirmed the involvement of all four suspects in the Perth Court Robbery, but an additional armed robbery on Roseview Lane that occurred on September 15th.

Andreas Miranda was charged with Speeding, Careless and Reckless driving, Flee to Elude, No Operator’s license, Running a Red Light, Armed Robbery, Conspiracy, and Resist, Delay, Obstruct.

Ashley Ramos, Luis Fernandez, and the 15-year-old juvenile were charged with Armed Robbery, Conspiracy, and Resist Delay Obstruct.
