CHARLOTTE – The N.C. Department of Transportation will close the ramp from Interstate 85 North to I-77 North/South starting tonight at 11 p.m. This will allow crews to remove pavement line markings to prepare for resurfacing work.
To avoid the ramp closure, drivers can take I-85 North to Statesville Avenue to I-77.
The closure is expected to last until 6 a.m.
