Pro-Life Group Makes Presence Known At Charlotte City Council Meeting
CHARLOTTE, NC — A pro-life group made its presence known at Monday’s city council meeting to oppose limits on who can park outside a south Charlotte abortion clinic.
The group regularly protests outside Referred Woman’s Health of Charlotte on Latrobe Drive. Council members are considering placing ‘no parking’ signs outside the clinic, which would keep the group from parking a sonogram van it uses to protest.
Critics argue not all patients are there for abortions, and the protesting and sonogram van intimidates people coming into the medical park.
