All Suspects Wanted For Stealing A Church’s Enclosed Trailer Now In Custody
LINCOLNTON, NC — Deputies have arrested the last two suspects wanted for stealing an enclosed trailer full of camping supplies from Real Life Community Church.
Willie Cox, Jr., 47, was arrested in Gaston County Monday night, according to officials, and Michael Moore, 43, was located in the Cabarrus County Jail where he is being held for a failure to appear on a misdemeanor larceny charge.
On September 12, investigators say the Real Life Community Church reported someone in a white crew cab pickup hooking up to their trailer and driving off. The next day, Gaston County Police advised the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office that they were working a case very similar.
Officials say they found the camping supplies stolen from Real Life CC during a search of a home belonging to two of the suspects. That property has been returned, but investigators say the 14 foot trailer is still missing. Officials believe the trailer has been taken out of state.
Deputies have also charged Johnny Jackson, 46, and Darren Kelley, 45, in connection to the case.
All suspects are being charged with felony Larceny and felony Conspiracy. The investigation is ongoing.
