Wells Fargo Championship Returns To Charlotte In 2018

CHARLOTTE, NC — The Wells Fargo Championship returns to Charlotte from Wilmington where it played this season due to the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow.

The 2018 dates are April 30th through May 6th, and organizers say you can expect nothing but the best. The tournament announced new executive and tournament directors Tuesday, along with a new slot on the PGA schedule.

The Wells Fargo Championship brings between 40 and 60 million dollars in economic impact to the Charlotte area each year. The tournament has also raised more than $20 million for local charities and non-profits since coming to the city in 2003.
