Standoff In NW Charlotte; Two Patients Already Transported To CMC

CHARLOTTE, NC — A standoff is underway in northwest Charlotte where medic says two people have already been taken to the hospital after a shooting on Augusta Street.

Medic responded to a GSW call around 7:30pm. Two patients were taken to CMC, according to officials, one with life threatening injuries and the other with potential life threatening injuries. There has been no confirmation as to whether both suspects were shot.

Officials say believe the suspect is still barricaded inside the home.
