Police Searching For Robbery Suspect

SALISBURY, NC– On Sunday Salisbury Police responded to Statesville Blvd in reference to a robbery.

Reports say the suspect entered the store with something wrapped around his hand and pointed it at the clerk stating to give him the money or he would shoot her.

The store clerk did not open the cash drawer so the suspect reportedly walked behind the counter, picked up the cash register and ran out of the store with it.

The suspect then got into a black Ford Explorer and fled the scene.
