Gov. Cooper Says More Should Be Done To Stop Gun Violence

CHARLOTTE, NC — NC Governor Roy Cooper says more needs to be done to stop gun violence following the Las Vegas shooting.

The governor attended a higher education forum Wednesday at Central Piedmont Community College.

When asked about the shooting in Vegas, Cooper said he believes in stronger steps for background checks and more emphasis on helping those with mental health issues.
