Charlotte Motor Speedway Prepares For Possible Rain At The Bank Of America 500

CONCORD, NC — Charlotte Motor Speedway is preparing for any rain that Tropical Storm Nate may bring to the Queen City this weekend.

The Bank of America 500 is on schedule with the race beginning at 2pm Sunday. Storms have delayed races at the speedway in the past two years, but they’re hoping that won’t be the case Sunday.

They do have jet dryers that can dry the track in less than 90 minutes, just in case.
