‘Last Comic Standing’ Winner Ralphie May Found Dead Of Cardiac Arrest At 45

LAS VEGAS, NV — Comedian Ralphie May was found dead in a private Las Vegas residence early Friday morning, according to a statement posted on his Twitter page. He was 45.

Officials say May died of cardiac arrest. The ‘Last Comic Standing’ winner had been battling pneumonia, according to the release, and had canceled a handful of shows over the last month.

On Wednesday, May won Casino Comedian of the Year at the Global Gaming Expo and had shows scheduled through the end of the year as part of his residency at Harrah’s Las Vegas.
