What has been an active afternoon and evening across the area continues overnight.  Expect Charlotte to get a good dose of rain and wind.  Gusts could hit as high as 30mph.  That means there could be some downed trees, limbs or power lines heading into work Monday morning.  Most of rainfall on Monday should hit in the am hours.  Tuesday gets another round, and we could pick up to two inches from now through Tuesday night.  Highs stay in the 80s over the next few days, but cool back to the 70s on Thursday and Friday.  Sun returns for the weekend, and it should be a good time to get outdoors.

Tonight:  Rainy and gusty. Low 75°.

Tomorrow:  Morning rain, muggy.  High 82°.

Monday Night:  Isolated showers and thunderstorms.  Low 71°.

Tuesday:  Scattered showers and storms.  High 82°.
