CHARLOTTE, NC — McDonald’s latest message to customers is to lock up your phone and enjoy a meal with your family. However, people don’t seem too interested.

One restaurant in Singapore installed 100 phone lockers, but the only people using them seem to be the people in their commercials. McDonald’s in India tried a similar effort in 2015, but it didn’t go over either.
