Edge On The Clock: Anne Frank Halloween Costume Yanked From Website
A costume company is apologizing for selling an Anne Frank outfit for kids.
Halloweencostumes.com pulled the costume from its site Monday after backlash erupted online.
The costume included a blue button up dress, a green beret and a brown shoulder bag “Reminiscent of the kind of clothing that might be worn by a young girl during World War II.”
The Anne Frank Center For Mutual Respect applauded the quick action to remove the costume.
Plus, a promotional campaign turns into a public relations problem for Applebee’s and parents are sharing pictures of their naked babies’ bottoms painted like pumpkins.
