LINCOLNTON, N.C. — A Lincolnton man has been sentenced to a maximum of eight years in prison after pleading guilty to Indecent Liberties with a Child charges, stemming from a child sexual abuse case.
Alomar Teracious Edwards, 25, received 30 to 96 months for having sex with a 15-year-old female over the course of two weeks in January of 2017.

Edwards also plead guilty to Second Degree Kidnapping. The girl was reported missing on December 28th, 2016.
An investigation determined Edwards and the victim knew each other.
Two charges of statutory rape of a child were dismissed.
