Two Suspects Charged After Deputies Recover Roughly 200 Stolen Items During Search
MORGANTON, NC — Deputies charged two suspects in multiple breaking and entering cases after finding more than 190 stolen items in their home.
Search warrants were executed Tuesday at the home of Robert Dale, Jr. and Rebecca Icard on Pax Hill Road. Officials say the warrants were the result of an investigation into several breaking and entering and larceny cases in the Chesterfield community.
During the search deputies say they found more than 190 stolen items, including a washer and dryer, welder, furniture, a violin, tool boxes, and mechanics’ tools. Officials say those items have been returned to the rightful owners.
Dale, 51, and Icard, 46, have both been charged with Felony Breaking and Entering, Felony Larceny, and Felony Possession of Stolen Property. Dale is additionally charged with Felony Obtaining Property by False Pretense.
Officials say say the investigation is ongoing and more charges are expected.
