ROCK HILL, SC — The official election results for the Rock Hill mayoral race and several city council seats were released Thursday afternoon.
Only 48 votes separated the top two mayoral candidates John Gettys and William Roddey. The final election numbers were released during a Board meeting Thursday morning, certifying the Rock Hill City election.
On October 31st, officials say a runoff election will be held to determine Rock Hill’s new Mayor. A runoff for the Ward 5 City Council seat will also take place that same day.
