Multiple Drug Trafficking Suspects Arrested In Union County

UNION COUNTY, NC — Narcotics detectives with the Union County Sheriff’s Office say they have busted several drug operations, arrested multiple suspects, and seized a large amount of dangerous drugs since last Friday.

Wednesday

Detectives seized roughly 48 grams of Methamphetamines and more than 5.5 grams of crushed Methylphenidate (Ritalin) pills during an operation in Monroe.

29-year-old Brittany Jackson, of Marshville, and 23-year-old Joseph Hendrix, of Pageland, have been charged with two counts each each of Trafficking in Methamphetamines, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Tuesday

Deputies searched a home on Windsong Way in Wingate where they say they found a wide variety of narcotics, including more than 64 grams of Psilocybin (mushrooms), 89 dosage units of LSD, 24 Oxycodone pills, several ounces of marijuana, over 50 grams of MDMA, 223 dosage units of Alprazolam (Xanax), Methylphenidate Hydrochloride (Ritalin), and 2 grams of Cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

19-year-old Daemon Ledford was arrested and charged with Felony Possession of Cocaine, Trafficking in MDA and MDMA, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule VI, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule IV, Felony Possession of Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule I, two counts of Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule II, Possession Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia.

Monday

Deputies, along with the Marshville Police Department, stopped a Cadillac Escalade on Marshville Boulevard that contained more than a pound of methamphetamines. The car’s occupants, 18-year-old Kevin Jimenez, of Charlotte, and 19-year-old Ivan Garcia, of Marshville, were both arrested and charged with two counts of Trafficking Meth and a charge for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Jimenez is also charged with Maintaining a Drug Vehicle.

In addition to the drugs, detectives say they also seized cash and the black Escalade.

Friday

Detectives arrested 20-year-old Ariel David Balda Teran, of Indian Trail, after K-9 “Yago” found roughly 300 grams of marijuana in his vehicle. Teran has been charged with Felony Possession of Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana, Maintaining a Drug Vehicle, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
