LuLaRoe Hit With Lawsuit After Accusations Of A Pyramid Scheme

CHARLOTTE, NC– A popular clothing brand that’s probably all over your Facebook is being called a pyramid scheme.

LuLaRoe is getting hit with a lawsuit after some women who sold for the company say they’re stuck with $20,000 of clothing.

Employees with the company said when the clothes didn’t sell they were told to max out their credit cards and even sell their breast milk to get by.

The lawsuit claims LulaRoe made most of their money off their sellers instead of customers.

Analyst say business like LulaRoe, Pampered Chef, Advocare, Plexus and Mary Kay do multi-level marketing, but experts say the difference between that and a pyramid scheme is minimal.
