UNCC Student Charged With Arson For Residence Hall Fire

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A UNC-Charlotte student has been charged with Felony Arson after starting a fire in a campus residence hall.

According to the reports the fire occurred in Oak Residence Hall on October 25, 2017.

Reports say one suite was severely damaged and students were displaced from three other suites.

Arrest records indicate Kaci Stackhouse, 19, from Monticello, New York, was arrested by the UNC Charlotte Police department on October 27, 2017, and charged with First Degree Arson.
