South End Gallery Crawl

The South End Gallery Crawl is a signature neighborhood event that happens on the first Friday evening of every month, from approximately 5-9 PM. Many of the galleries will stay open late to host lively receptions for new exhibits with music, food and drink, and an opportunity to meet the artists. The galleries are always rotating interesting displays of everything from cityscape paintings and juried Carolina clay sculptures to funky natural jewelry and broken china mosaics.

Historic West End Initiative, the Knight Foundation, M&F Bank and Johnson C. Smith University have come together to provide those entrepreneurial individuals with the insights they need to take on the challenges and rewards of being your own boss. To help build up the next wave of small business owners, expert panelists and presenters will share business gems with attendees throughout the day. The conference is FREE and open to small business owners and entrepreneurs ready for a day full of learning and strategically planned implementation. The parking is free, but seating is limited.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night Walk funds treatments that are saving the lives of patients today. LLS is making cures happen by providing patient support services, advocating for lifesaving treatments and pioneering the most promising cancer research anywhere. And it’s all happening now. Not someday, but today. Each year friends, families and coworkers form teams to raise money in support of our mission.
