ASHEVILLE, N.C. — A manhunt is underway for a North Carolina inmate who has escaped for the second time.
Authorities say that Michael Colloway escaped during a medical procedure Wednesday in Asheville.
Colloway reportedly attacked an officer and proceeded to run into the nearby woods. He previously escaped back in 2014 in Watauga County after walking away from a work assignment.
