MORGANTON, NC — Authorities are investigating after a man was found shot to death following a breaking and entering call Wednesday morning.
The call came in around 7:41am. Officials say the caller reported a breaking and entering in progress on Gold Hill Road.
When deputies arrived they found a white male dead from a gunshot wound. The SBI is assisting in the investigation, and search warrants have been obtained.
