Video of Miami Female Fan Being Punched by Cop Goes Viral

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A viral video of a cop punching a drunk Miami fan after getting slapped in the face is drawing a lot of controversy.

Police say the fan got in a fight with another fan and had to be removed from the game.

During that moment, the female fan slaps the officer across the head, causing him to punch her directly after.

The police union has responded to the video saying the officer did nothing wrong; however, many who have seen the video say the officer used excessive force in the situation.
