Get Ready For Higher Gas Prices This Holiday Season
CHARLOTTE, NC — Gas prices are on the rise. AAA says October’s warm weather had more people taking road trips and using more fuel.
Prices are not expected to fall until after Thanksgiving, according to experts.
Regular is averaging around $2.38 a gallon in Charlotte. That’s 27 cents higher than this time last year.
Statewide, drivers are paying about 25 cents more at about $2.40 a gallon. In South Carolina, regular is averaging about $2.29.
