Police Arrest Vandals Accused Of Targeting Several Boone Businesses

Boone and ASU Police have arrested two suspects wanted for vandalizing several downtown businesses early Monday morning.
Officials say a Boone Police officer spotted the suspects, 21-year-old George Lord and 23-year-old Peter Catoe, both of Boone, while patrolling the downtown area Tuesday. The officer says they took off towards the App State campus, and he radioed ASUPD for assistance.
The two men were quickly located behind the Turchin Center and taken into custody.
Lord and Catoe are both charged with four misdemeanor counts of Vandalism. Catoe was additionally charged by ASU Police with misdemeanor Resist, Obstruct or Delay, and misdemeanor Misuse of 911 System.

BOONE, NC — Police are looking for the suspects who vandalized several businesses early Monday morning.
The incidents happened along King Street in the downtown Boone area. Surveillance captured in the area shows two suspects tagging the buildings.
