PAGELAND, SC — One person was killed Wednesday morning after a mini van collided with a tractor trailer in Chesterfield County.
The accident happened just before noon on US 601 at SC 151. Troopers say the mini van was turning left onto US 601 when it was hit by the tractor trailer.
The 83-year-old driver of the mini van was pronounced dead on the scene. The tractor trailer’s driver, 56-year-old Ibrahim Addi, of Waterfield, Ohio, was not injured.
Troopers have not yet released the victim’s name, but do say no charged have been filed.
