WGU Offering Veterans Scholarship For High-Demand Fields

Western Governors University is helping veterans get their degree with the WGU Salute to Veterans Scholarship.

As North Carolina’s newest university, Western Governors University aims to help working adults accomplish their academic goals with an online competency model.

WGU is a nonprofit university supported by N.C. Lieutenant Governor, Dan Forest.Β  The school has partnered with the state of North Carolina to offer accredited bachelor’s and master’s degrees in high-demand fields like business, K-12 education, information technology and health professions.

The Salute to Veterans Scholarship is offered to veterans, active-duty military, reservists, and military family members who are interested in the high-demand fieldsΒ  Β Applications for the Veterans Scholarship are being accepted through January 31, 2018.
