CHESTER, S.C. – Police are investigating a shooting death in Chester, South Carolina.
Authorities say officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Foote Street and Saluda Street.
Arriving officers located Ankee Pendergrass, 22, suffering from gunshot wounds. Pendergrass was taken to the Chester Regional Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.
