CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police have identified the victim of Charlotte’s 80th homicide of the year.
Officers were responding to a welfare check, just before 11 p.m. last night, when they found 19-year-old Jervais Wanya Cain shot to death on Barton Creek Drive, right off North Tryon Street. Cain was a student at CPCC.
Right now, detectives are looking for witnesses. This is still an ongoing investigation.
